Water-Jel Kits are available in different designs for the different work environments of first responders, safety managers and medical professionals. Based on our experience and developed together with Paramedics around Europe, these burn kits offer different combinations of Burn Dressings, Burn Wrap/Fire Blankets and Burn Jel to meet any Burn Emergency. All Water-Jel Burn Care Kits come in handy transport- and storage bags.
Water-Jel is a water-based, water-soluble gel that draws the heat out of a burn while it relieves the pain, cools the skin, and protects against airborne contamination. By applying Water-Jel as soon as possible, the heat of the burn is dissipated and helps prevent the heat form progression deeper into the skin.
The gel consists of 96% water and has the same cooling effects as water, but because it is thick it stays on the burn and doesn't evaporate. Water-Jel also contains thickening agents and preservatives to maintain the gel's viscosity, efficacy and give it a 5-year shelf-life.

Water-Jel Fire Blankets are a one-step system for emergency first aid on a burn victim. The blanket puts out the fire, stops burn progression and cools the skin, relieves pain and protects the burn area from contamination.
Water-Jel Fire Blankets consist of a scientifically formulated cooling gel and a special carrier. The 100% worsted wool blanket with intercellular weave can absorb up to 13 times its own weight. The blanket is soaked in a water-based / water-soluble, bacteriostatic and biodegradable gel. Can be placed directly over clothing and won’t stick to burn injuries. Shelf life: 5 years from date of manufacture.
The smallest and most versatile of the fire blankets. Can be used to extinguish flames and smouldering clothes or dangerous white phosphorous. Ideal for covering torso, leg or entire back injuries. Conveniently packaged in a flat, durable foil pouch for use in first aid kits, EMS jump bags and medical clinics. Directions for use clearly defined on pouch. Shelf life: 5 years from date of manufacture.
