Description

The Actfast vest can be used to train the Abdominal Thrust Manoeuvre (Heimlich Manoeuvre), in an easy and realistic manner. Both abdominal thrusts and safety blows between the shoulder blades can be practiced safely. When these operations are performed correctly, the vest shoots a foam plug out of the airway.

Features

Realistic feedback: The “foamplug” shooting out when done correctly gives immediate, visible feedback. This helps learners know they did it right.

Multiple positions: You can train standing, sitting, lying down. Also self‑rescue (using a countertop or chair) can be practised.

Useful for groups, differentlevels: There are “beginner” and “advanced” plugs, so you can scale thedifficulty. Also multiple vests are available for group training.

Safety: Since it's a trainingtool, risk of harm is much lower than practising fully on live persons.Latex‑free and lead‑free materials also help for safety and allergies.
